Integrative Counselling for adults, young adults, and couples in Maidstone and online

About Me

I’m Caroline, and my journey into counselling began with my own experiences of loss, which led me to volunteering and discovering that supporting others through difficult times felt deeply fulfilling. What started as volunteering gradually became formal training, and eventually, my vocation.

My approach is integrative, drawing primarily on person-centred and psychodynamic theories. This means I adapt to what you need rather than following a rigid framework. Some clients need practical strategies for managing anxiety; others need space to explore deeper patterns from their past. I follow your lead because you're the expert in your own life.

I've spent years working in bereavement support, sitting with people through profound loss and learning that grief doesn't follow neat stages or timelines. I've also worked extensively with adults and young people facing mental health challenges. This breadth of experience has taught me that everyone's story is different, and each requires a tailored approach.

What I bring to our sessions is both professional training and genuine understanding. I know what it's like when life doesn't go to plan, when loss reshapes everything, when you need someone who truly listens without judgement. I'm BACP (British Association for Counselling and Pscyhotherapy) registered and NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) accredited, which means I maintain high professional standards, but more importantly, I care deeply about this work and the people I support.
